Celebrating Election Success – A Stronger Voice for CWU Capital

We’re thrilled to share the news that the candidates endorsed by CWU Capital have been successfully elected! Their victory underscores the strength of our collective voice and our commitment to driving meaningful change at every level of the union.

Congratulations to Our Elected Representatives

A special shoutout to our Branch Chair, Pete Francis, who will continue to be a strong voice for CWU Capital on the National Executive. His dedication to representing our branch and advocating for our members is unmatched, and we’re proud to see him re-elected.

Joining Pete are several other exceptional leaders, ensuring our branch’s influence and advocacy remain robust: T&FS Chair: Andy Mercer, NEC Members: Kate Walsh, Michelle Bailey, and others. For the National Team, Pete is joined by Tracy Buckley, Mel Wilson, and Anton Begley. LGBT+ Rep has seen Maria Excel also elected. These leaders bring experience, passion, and a steadfast commitment to advancing the rights and welfare of our members. Their re-election and continued service are a testament to the trust and confidence of our membership.

Why This Matters

From negotiating fair outcomes during redundancies to improving workplace conditions and shaping union policy at the national level, these leaders are at the forefront of positive change.

We’re confident that this team will continue to push for progress and ensure that the voices of CWU Capital members are heard loud and clear.
