BT has put forward its 2025 pay offer, which includes:
1% salary increase + £1,000 lump sum (fully consolidated and pensionable) for all team members. 6.7% increase for Consumer frontline staff to maintain a 7.5% gap above the new National Living Wage, effective April 1st. This inflationary pay offer is a direct result of union negotiations and will be subject to a consultative ballot. We strongly recommend a YES vote.
Action Items for Members:
Please VOTE in the ballot to secure this deal. Encourage your colleagues to vote because every voice counts. While you’re there, ask non-union members to join CWU for stronger collective bargaining. We will then keep you updated via branch briefings and communications.
Strength in Numbers
Now is also the time to speak with colleagues who are not yet members of the CWU. Better pay and stronger protections are won when workers stand together. The more members we have, the stronger our voice becomes when negotiating with BT.
Most importantly, remember the more members we have, the stronger our position in securing fair pay. Let’s stand together and take action.
Stay Updated
CWU Capital will continue to keep members informed through branch briefings and regular communications as the ballot progresses. Please make sure you cast your vote and encourage others to do the same. Together, we are stronger.
